Kitchen Vacancies – Busy Restaurant (Immediate Start)

We are recruiting two kitchen positions to join our team ahead of the upcoming busy season.

These roles are to start soon allowing the successful candidates time to settle in, learn the role, and be fully up to speed before our peak season begins.

This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, well-established restaurant with a supportive team environment.

Position 1: 2nd Chef

Role Overview:
Working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team, the 2nd Chef will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.

Key Duties Include:
• Assisting with food preparation and service across all sections
• Supporting the Head Chef with menu execution and daily specials
• Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
• Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are met at all times
• Helping with stock rotation, deliveries, and general kitchen organisation
• Working efficiently during busy services as part of a close-knit team

Ideal Candidate:
• Previous kitchen experience in a similar role
• Passion for good food and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Reliable, organised, and a team player

Position 2: Kitchen Porter

Role Overview:
A vital role within the kitchen, supporting chefs and ensuring smooth service through cleanliness and organisation.

Key Duties Include:
• Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Keeping kitchen areas clean, tidy, and hygienic
• Assisting with basic food prep when required
• Helping with deliveries and stock organisation
• Ensuring waste is managed correctly and safely

Ideal Candidate:
• Hardworking and reliable
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to learn and support the wider kitchen team
• Previous experience helpful but not essential
